- In an emergency, please stay calm and call the corresponding number based on your needs. The following emergency hotlines are commonly used in mainland China:
· Emergency Police Center: 110
Used for reporting criminal cases, public security incidents, or urgent dangers that individuals cannot handle.
· Fire Alarm and Emergency Rescue: 119
In addition to fires, it can also be called for hazardous chemical leaks, major safety accidents, or other situations requiring emergency rescue.
· Medical Emergency Center: 120
Used for sudden illnesses, accidental injuries, or other situations requiring urgent medical assistance.
Important Notes:
· Even if your phone has no balance or no signal (but can detect other carrier networks), you can usually dial these emergency numbers.
· When reporting an emergency, the most critical step is to clearly state your location. Please try to provide the district, street, house number, or nearby prominent landmarks.
